A Curtain's Art

Written By: Anna Bryant The curtain is down,                      the music is over. The costumes have been stored away. Now what? The rushing voices are silent. Nothing but the ghosts of what has been remain. Set has been demolished leaving nothing but a stage. Now what is there for me? An empty stage. Filled with the history of the past WIth the full potential of the new. What is the next story to be told? The great minds          Shakespeare,                          Chekhov,                                        Brecht. All who understood the pains of the theater. Who were they to know? All bring something new to the stage. People make the story. History, creation, art. Art which touches the heart of mankind. That's why.

To Stand Once More

Caught in fast forward motion. Does anyone see me? Do I see me? I see you. I see your strength. You have been hit by so many lethal words. Yet you still choose to stand for truth. Love has not left my eyes, Your love for yourself is what you no longer accept. Let go of your self judgement.
